Audiences and press have nice things to say about the premiere of Odyssey. The San Francisco Chronicle says each of the performers – Anya Whelan-Smith, Zamo Mlengana, Sophie Zmorrod, and Layla Koushnoudi – “electrify” in their transformations!

Broadway World calls the piece “engaging and beautifully staged,” with sweeping accolades and recognized the production’s “high standards throughout” the production.

Marin Independent Journal gives Odyssey five out of five stars, describing the piece and its performances as “dynamic,” “animated,” “touching,” and more. Writer and director Lisa Peterson’s direction keeps things “always in motion” and is credited, along with the performers, are credited with giving Homer’s classic “renewed relevance.”
